General Maintenance Technician (Hotel) – Immediate Start

Every day is different here: small repairs, painting and planned maintenance at the shopping centre in Sandton. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

The work is in Sandton, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day.

• Clear gutters and fix minor roof leaks with sealant
• Service pool pumps, gate motors and garage door openers
• Patch, sand and paint walls, doors and ceilings between tenants
• Check fire extinguishers, emergency lights and escape routes on a monthly checklist
• Keep the maintenance store tidy and track stock used
• Work through the maintenance log each morning and prioritise urgent requests

• Available for the occasional weekend emergency
• Basic painting, tiling, plumbing and carpentry skills
• Honest and trusted to work inside occupied units
• At least 2 years of general building maintenance work you can back up with references

• Pool and borehole pump experience
• Experience with a work order system on a phone app
• Gate motor and intercom repair skills

• Training on specialised equipment like gate motors and pool plant
• Uniform and safety boots supplied
• On-site accommodation at some estates
