Licensed Plumber (PIRB Registered) – Immediate Start

You'll sort out burst geysers, leaks and blockages for the insurance repair contractor in Kempton Park. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll be based at an insurance repair contractor in Kempton Park. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Service booster pumps, pressure tanks and water storage tanks
• Take photos and complete the insurer's claim report after each geyser job
• Clear blocked drains with a rodding machine and inspect lines with a drain camera
• Issue plumbing Certificates of Compliance for completed installations
• Work on the emergency call-out roster for after-hours bursts
• Install copper, PEX and PVC piping for new bathrooms and kitchens
• Install and repair soil and waste pipes to SANS 10400 Part P

• PIRB registration as a Licensed Plumber, so you can issue plumbing CoCs
• At least 3 years as a qualified plumber, including geyser replacements
• Plumbing trade test certificate or an Occupational Certificate: Plumber (NQF 4)
• Code 08 licence and a clean driving record
• Working knowledge of SANS 10252-1 and SANS 10254
