Job Description

Parents at this private pre-primary school in Brits trust you with their children every morning. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

Home base is a private pre-primary school on the Brits side of North West. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

What you'll actually do

Help aftercare learners with homework and reading
Feed, change and settle babies and toddlers on their routine
Set up daily learning areas for art, blocks, reading and fantasy play
Clean and sanitise toys, mats and tables at the end of the day
Follow the NCF daily programme and adapt it for each age group
Chat to parents at drop-off and pick-up about how the day went

Must-haves

Experience caring for children in a group setting, even as a volunteer
Matric
Paediatric first aid certificate
Warm, patient and energetic with small children
