Guest Relations Officer (Resort)

You'll handle check-ins, bookings and questions at a game lodge in Epping. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

Home base is a game lodge on the Epping side of Western Cape. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

• Manage OTA bookings coming in from online travel channels.
• Check guests in and out on Opera or Protel, and scan IDs and passports.
• Run the night audit, close the day and print the flash report.
• Take card pre-authorisations and settle folios at checkout.
• Book shuttles, dinner reservations and game drives for guests.
• Balance your cash float and card slips before handover.
• Store guest details securely in line with POPIA.

• You can work rotating shifts, including nights
• A hospitality or tourism diploma, or 1 year at a hotel front desk
• Honest with cash and card payments
• Clear spoken and written English

• A foreign language such as German, French or Portuguese
• Opera PMS or Protel certificate
