Guest Relations Officer (Resort) – Immediate Start

You'll handle check-ins, bookings and questions at a travel agency in Kariega. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

You'll report in Kariega. Relocation is not covered for this one. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

• Check guests in and out on Opera or Protel, and scan IDs and passports.
• Allocate rooms and pass early check-ins to housekeeping.
• Answer booking emails and calls, and quote rates from the rate sheet.
• Store guest details securely in line with POPIA.
• Handle complaints at the desk and log them for the duty manager.
• Book shuttles, dinner reservations and game drives for guests.

• Honest with cash and card payments
• Matric
• Clear spoken and written English
• Calm with an unhappy guest at 11pm
• A hospitality or tourism diploma, or 1 year at a hotel front desk
• Confident on a computer and quick to learn a property system
