Job Description

Guests at this travel agency in Mogwase meet you first, so the stay starts at your desk. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

Location: Mogwase, North West. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first.

What you'll actually do

Quote flights, car hire and holiday packages on a GDS such as Amadeus or Galileo.
Store guest details securely in line with POPIA.
Manage OTA bookings coming in from online travel channels.
Run the night audit, close the day and print the flash report.
Allocate rooms and pass early check-ins to housekeeping.

What you need

Confident on a computer and quick to learn a property system
A hospitality or tourism diploma, or 1 year at a hotel front desk
Calm with an unhappy guest at 11pm
Matric
Honest with cash and card payments
Clear spoken and written English

Helpful, not essential

Opera PMS or Protel certificate
Revenue or yield management exposure
A foreign language such as German, French or Portuguese
