Job Description

Start in retail here: a hardware and building store in Johannesburg CBD trains packers who show up and work neat. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

This post is in Johannesburg CBD (Gauteng). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Start is planned for the beginning of next month.

What you'll actually do

Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs
Help customers find products and carry heavy items to cars
Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled
Put up price tickets and promotion shelf strips
Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables

What you need

Grade 10 or matric
Neat appearance and punctual
Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
Able to stand and lift cases all shift
Polite with customers and happy to help

Extra points for

Being 18 or older for liquor store roles
Previous shelf packing or merchandising work
