Job Description

You'll keep the shelves full and tidy at a township shopping centre store in Kimberley, so shoppers find what they came for. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

Home base is a township shopping centre store on the Kimberley side of Northern Cape. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

What you'll actually do

Help customers find products and carry heavy items to cars
Unpack deliveries in the receiving area and sort by aisle
Put up price tickets and promotion shelf strips
Collect trolleys from the parking lot
Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves
Check sell-by dates and pull expired stock for the manager

Must-haves

Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
Polite with customers and happy to help
Basic reading and maths for price checks

Helpful, not essential

Some till or cash-handling experience
Previous shelf packing or merchandising work
Being 18 or older for liquor store roles
