You'll keep the shelves full and tidy at a liquor store in Newcastle, so shoppers find what they came for. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

The site is in Newcastle; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying.

• Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs
• Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled
• Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles
• Pack shelves from the back, rotating older stock to the front (first in, first out)
• Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves

• Able to stand and lift cases all shift
• Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
• Basic reading and maths for price checks
• Neat appearance and punctual
• Grade 10 or matric

• Being 18 or older for liquor store roles
• Some till or cash-handling experience
• Previous shelf packing or merchandising work

• Paid training in store procedures
