Health and Safety Manager (Construction)

Home base is a road construction project on the Brackenfell side of Western Cape. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Keep appointment letters and competency certificates in the file
• Audit subcontractor safety files before they start work
• Run site inductions for every new worker and visitor
• Check that fall protection plans are in place for work at height
• Hold toolbox talks on topics that match the week's work

• First Aid Level 1 at least
• SACPCMP registration as a Construction Health and Safety Officer
• Good understanding of the OHS Act and Construction Regulations 2014
• You write clear reports in English
