Home Tutor (Primary School, Afternoons)

You'll help learners who are stuck finally get it, one session at a time, for a remedial learning centre in Richards Bay. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

This post is Richards Bay-based, with most of your time spent at a remedial learning centre.

• Log hours and sessions on the agency's booking system for payment
• Plan sessions that target the exact topics the learner is failing
• Teach one-on-one or in small groups of up to six
• Prepare learners for control tests with short timed practice drills
• Run live video lessons with a headset, whiteboard app and stable connection

• Available at least three afternoons or evenings a week
• Own transport for home tutoring posts
• Police clearance for work with minors
• Clear, patient way of explaining ideas

• Flexible hours you choose each week
• Hourly rate that rises with your ratings and results
• Work from home on online posts

• List exactly which afternoons you're free, because timetable fit decides most tutoring bookings.
• Lead with your own mark in the subject, such as "Maths 89% (NSC)"; tutoring agencies filter by marks.
