Hospital Admissions Clerk (Night Shift)

At a busy general practice in Boksburg, your job is clean files, correct codes and money that comes in on time. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

The site is in Boksburg; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying.

• Submit claims electronically and work through the rejection report daily
• Chase short payments with medical schemes and patients
• Code consultations and procedures with ICD-10 and CCSA or NHRPL tariffs
• Take payments, issue receipts and balance the cash-up at close
• Book appointments and manage the doctor's diary on the practice software
• Request pre-authorisation for scans, procedures and admissions

• At least 2 years in a medical practice, hospital or billing bureau
• Friendly on the phone and firm about outstanding accounts
• You keep patient information private, every time
• Confident with Excel and email
