Hospital Admissions Clerk (Night Shift)

At a dental practice in Welkom, your job is clean files, correct codes and money that comes in on time. You'll work with a small crew, so being easy to work with matters as much as skill.

You'll report in Welkom. Relocation is not covered for this one. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Send monthly statements and age the debtors book
• Request pre-authorisation for scans, procedures and admissions
• Chase short payments with medical schemes and patients
• Book appointments and manage the doctor's diary on the practice software
• Keep patient records locked and share them only with written consent

• Friendly on the phone and firm about outstanding accounts
• You keep patient information private, every time
• Matric
• Sound knowledge of ICD-10 coding and medical aid tariff codes
• At least 2 years in a medical practice, hospital or billing bureau
• Confident with Excel and email

• Specialist rooms care about the discipline, so say if you've coded for surgeons, anaesthetists or radiologists.
