Job Description

At this boutique guesthouse in Tembisa, you'll turn bookings into happy stays. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

The work is in Tembisa, Gauteng, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

What your day looks like

Quote flights, car hire and holiday packages on a GDS such as Amadeus or Galileo.
Answer booking emails and calls, and quote rates from the rate sheet.
Take card pre-authorisations and settle folios at checkout.
Balance your cash float and card slips before handover.
Run the night audit, close the day and print the flash report.
Store guest details securely in line with POPIA.

You'll need

Matric
Calm with an unhappy guest at 11pm
Clear spoken and written English
You can work rotating shifts, including nights

Extra points for

Amadeus or Galileo training for travel roles
Revenue or yield management exposure
Opera PMS or Protel certificate
