Housekeeping Supervisor (Boutique Hotel)

Guests at a city business hotel in Tzaneen will never meet you, but they will judge the stay by your work. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll be based at a city business hotel in Tzaneen. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Clean lobby, lifts and public toilets through the day
• Keep your trolley stocked and neat before each shift
• Report maintenance faults like dripping taps or broken lights
• Do evening turndowns, closing curtains and setting out slippers
• Strip and make beds to the hotel's standard, hospital corners included
• Vacuum, dust and check the minibar in each room

• Well groomed
• Quick and thorough, with a target of about 14 to 16 rooms a shift
• Physically able to push trolleys and turn mattresses
• Grade 10 or matric
• Friendly and polite if you meet guests in the corridor

• Experience with industrial laundry machines
• A hospitality short course or NQF Level 2 accommodation services certificate

• Meals on duty from the staff kitchen
• Share of the service charge or guest tips
• Staff accommodation at remote lodges
• Uniform supplied and laundered
