HR & IR Officer (Mining Operation)

People issues land on your desk first at this agricultural pack house in Atlantis, and you'll sort them fairly. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

This post is in Atlantis (Western Cape). Please only apply if you can travel there daily. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Coordinate training and submit SETA grant claims on time.
• Advise line managers on the Labour Relations Act and the BCEA.
• Run exit interviews and report turnover each quarter.
• Consult with shop stewards and attend union meetings.
• Run onboarding, contracts and probation reviews for new staff.
• Handle grievances with notes, dates and a clear written outcome.

• A degree or diploma in HR management, labour relations or industrial psychology
• Confident facilitating hard conversations with managers and unions
• CCMA experience, at least at conciliation
• At least 3 years as an HR officer or generalist
• Good report writing and Excel
