HR Manager (Small to Medium Business)

You'll handle the full HR cycle for a logistics group in Prospecton, from hiring to hearings. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

The site is in Prospecton; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Handle grievances with notes, dates and a clear written outcome.
• Run exit interviews and report turnover each quarter.
• Advise line managers on the Labour Relations Act and the BCEA.
• Coordinate training and submit SETA grant claims on time.
• Chair or initiate disciplinary hearings and write up the outcome.
• Track leave, absenteeism and sick notes and act on patterns.
• Compile the Employment Equity report and the Workplace Skills Plan.

• Solid working knowledge of the LRA, BCEA and EEA
• CCMA experience, at least at conciliation
• At least 3 years as an HR officer or generalist
• Good report writing and Excel
• A degree or diploma in HR management, labour relations or industrial psychology

• HR system experience such as Sage 300 People or PaySpace
• Skills development facilitator (SDF) training
