Job Description

Keeping a private hospital in Krugersdorp fair, legal and well staffed is the heart of this job. It suits someone who likes knowing exactly what a good day's work looks like.

Location: Krugersdorp, Gauteng. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

What you'll actually do

Track leave, absenteeism and sick notes and act on patterns.
Run onboarding, contracts and probation reviews for new staff.
Consult with shop stewards and attend union meetings.
Represent the company at CCMA conciliations and arbitrations.
Advise line managers on the Labour Relations Act and the BCEA.
Run exit interviews and report turnover each quarter.

What you need

Confident facilitating hard conversations with managers and unions
CCMA experience, at least at conciliation
Valid driver's licence for multi-site roles
Good report writing and Excel
A degree or diploma in HR management, labour relations or industrial psychology
At least 3 years as an HR officer or generalist

Extra points for

HR system experience such as Sage 300 People or PaySpace
Skills development facilitator (SDF) training
