Job Description

Customers phone this online retail help desk in Atlantis when something has gone wrong, and your job is to put it right. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

This post is in Atlantis (Western Cape). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

What you'll actually do

Troubleshoot routers, fibre connections and app logins step by step.
Follow up on open tickets and phone customers back when promised.
Attend team huddles and weekly coaching sessions on call recordings.
Log every interaction and outcome in the CRM before taking the next call.
Reply to emails and live chats within the service-level window.

Must-haves

Clear, neutral spoken English and good typing speed (around 30 wpm)
Basic computer skills: Windows, email and working across a few screens
Matric with a pass in English
You stay calm when a caller is angry

Helpful, not essential

Previous contact centre or retail customer service experience
A Customer Service NQF Level 2 or 4 learnership certificate
A second language, especially Afrikaans, isiZulu or Portuguese
