Job Description

Customers phone this online retail help desk in Pinetown when something has gone wrong, and your job is to put it right. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

This post is in Pinetown (KwaZulu-Natal). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

The work, day to day

Log every interaction and outcome in the CRM before taking the next call.
Meet daily targets for average handle time, quality score and first-call resolution.
Attend team huddles and weekly coaching sessions on call recordings.
Answer inbound calls within target and greet callers using the approved script.
Handle callers with UK, US or Australian accents and time zones.
Follow up on open tickets and phone customers back when promised.

What you need

Clear, neutral spoken English and good typing speed (around 30 wpm)
Able to pass a voice and accent assessment
Matric with a pass in English
You stay calm when a caller is angry

Extra points for

Previous contact centre or retail customer service experience
A Customer Service NQF Level 2 or 4 learnership certificate
