Job Description

Selling to companies takes patience; at this industrial distributor in Randburg, big deals are worth the wait. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

This post is Randburg-based, with most of your time spent at an industrial distributor. Start date: as soon as possible for the right person.

What you'll actually do

Forecast monthly sales and report pipeline value each Monday.
Chase overdue accounts with the credit department before they grow.
Visit key accounts monthly and check how the service is going.
Book and run discovery meetings with buyers and procurement managers.
Log every lead, meeting and deal stage in the CRM.
Negotiate contract terms, rentals and service-level agreements.

What you need

Matric plus a sales, marketing or technical qualification
You close deals, not just collect meetings
Solid presentation and negotiation skills
Resilient enough to handle long sales cycles and rejection
Valid driver's licence and your own reliable car
2 or more years of business-to-business sales with a proven record

What you get

Basic plus monthly commission on gross profit
