Job Description

You'll be the person who fixes it when laptops, printers and logins break at a hospital group in Brakpan. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

This post is Brakpan-based, with most of your time spent at a hospital group. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

What you'll actually do

Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams and OneDrive problems for users
Install and configure printers, scanners and docking stations
Write short how-to guides for common user problems
Connect users remotely with a remote support tool to fix issues
Image, set up and hand over new laptops and desktops
Escalate network and server faults to second or third line with good notes

Must-haves

Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft 365
Patient and friendly with non-technical users
Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
Code B driver's licence and own car for field posts
