Job Description

Tickets come in all day at this hospital group in Mamelodi, and you close them. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

This post is Mamelodi-based, with most of your time spent at a hospital group. Weekend work is on a roster, so you won't be on every weekend.

What your day looks like

Connect users remotely with a remote support tool to fix issues
Image, set up and hand over new laptops and desktops
Keep the asset register up to date when equipment moves
Reset passwords and unlock accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID
Install and configure printers, scanners and docking stations
Escalate network and server faults to second or third line with good notes

Must-haves

At least 1 year of help desk or desktop support (not needed for intern posts)
Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
Basic networking: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi
Code B driver's licence and own car for field posts

Helpful, not essential

CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft MD-102 certification
Experience with Intune or SCCM for device management
