Job Description

Tickets come in all day at this group of private schools in Springs, and you close them. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

You'll be based at a group of private schools in Springs. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

What you'll actually do

Log, prioritise and update tickets on the service desk system
Visit branches or sites to fix issues that need hands on the machine
Install and configure printers, scanners and docking stations
Reset passwords and unlock accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID
Write short how-to guides for common user problems

You'll need

Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
Patient and friendly with non-technical users
At least 1 year of help desk or desktop support (not needed for intern posts)
Code B driver's licence and own car for field posts

Nice if you have

ITIL Foundation
Experience supporting point-of-sale or medical devices
CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft MD-102 certification
