Job Description

Get hands-on support experience at a hospital group in Durban Central, from password resets to new laptop builds. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

This post is Durban Central-based, with most of your time spent at a hospital group.

What your day looks like

Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams and OneDrive problems for users
Replace faulty hardware and log warranty claims with suppliers
Log, prioritise and update tickets on the service desk system
Connect users remotely with a remote support tool to fix issues
Reset passwords and unlock accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID
Image, set up and hand over new laptops and desktops
Keep the asset register up to date when equipment moves

You'll need

Basic networking: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi
Able to log clear, complete ticket notes
Patient and friendly with non-technical users
Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma

Extra points for

ITIL Foundation
CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft MD-102 certification
