IT Intern (Support Desk)

Tickets come in all day at this call centre campus in Germiston, and you close them. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

You'll be based at a call centre campus in Germiston. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Keep the asset register up to date when equipment moves
• Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams and OneDrive problems for users
• Replace faulty hardware and log warranty claims with suppliers
• Write short how-to guides for common user problems
• Log, prioritise and update tickets on the service desk system
• Image, set up and hand over new laptops and desktops

• Code B driver's licence and own car for field posts
• Patient and friendly with non-technical users
• Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft 365
• Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma

• Experience supporting point-of-sale or medical devices
• CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft MD-102 certification
• Experience with Intune or SCCM for device management

• Paid certification exams after probation
• Clear path to second-line and systems roles
