IT Intern (Support Desk)

Tickets come in all day at this corporate head office in Krugersdorp, and you close them. Good for someone who wants to build a solid track record they can put on their CV.

This post is Krugersdorp-based, with most of your time spent at a corporate head office.

• Image, set up and hand over new laptops and desktops
• Install and configure printers, scanners and docking stations
• Log, prioritise and update tickets on the service desk system
• Replace faulty hardware and log warranty claims with suppliers
• Reset passwords and unlock accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID
• Connect users remotely with a remote support tool to fix issues

• Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft 365
• Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
• Basic networking: IP addresses, DNS, DHCP and Wi-Fi
• Patient and friendly with non-technical users

• CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft MD-102 certification
• Experience with Intune or SCCM for device management
• Experience supporting point-of-sale or medical devices

• Standby pay for after-hours cover
