Job Description

Tickets come in all day at this corporate head office in Welkom, and you close them. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

The site is in Welkom; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying.

What you'll actually do

Connect users remotely with a remote support tool to fix issues
Install and configure printers, scanners and docking stations
Visit branches or sites to fix issues that need hands on the machine
Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams and OneDrive problems for users
Replace faulty hardware and log warranty claims with suppliers
Escalate network and server faults to second or third line with good notes

Must-haves

Patient and friendly with non-technical users
Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft 365
At least 1 year of help desk or desktop support (not needed for intern posts)
Code B driver's licence and own car for field posts
Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma

Nice if you have

Experience with Intune or SCCM for device management
ITIL Foundation
