IT Manager (Mid-Sized Company)

An internet service provider in Khayelitsha needs infrastructure that just works, and someone to make it so. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

You'll be based at an internet service provider in Khayelitsha. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Manage users, groups and conditional access in Entra ID
• Troubleshoot load-shedding related outages and UPS failures
• Review security logs and investigate suspicious sign-ins
• Configure switches, VLANs, VPNs and firewall rules
• Build and maintain virtual machines on Hyper-V, VMware or Azure

• Degree or diploma in IT, plus relevant certifications
• Clear change management and documentation habits
• At least 3 years in systems, network or cloud administration
• Willing to do standby and after-hours maintenance
• Solid TCP/IP, routing, switching and firewall knowledge
• Scripting in PowerShell, Bash or Python

• Experience with SIEM tools such as Microsoft Sentinel or Wazuh
• Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or AWS Solutions Architect Associate

• Standby allowance and overtime for maintenance windows
