Job Description

Tickets come in all day at this group of private schools in Cape Town CBD, and you close them. It's the kind of job where doing the basics well every day gets you noticed.

The work is in Cape Town CBD, Western Cape, so you'll need a reliable way to get there every day. Most weeks are 45 hours, in line with the BCEA.

What your day looks like

Escalate network and server faults to second or third line with good notes
Install and configure printers, scanners and docking stations
Connect users remotely with a remote support tool to fix issues
Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams and OneDrive problems for users
Write short how-to guides for common user problems

What you need

Code B driver's licence and own car for field posts
Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
At least 1 year of help desk or desktop support (not needed for intern posts)
Able to log clear, complete ticket notes

Extra points for

Experience with Intune or SCCM for device management
ITIL Foundation
