Job Description

A hospital group in Mokopane needs a calm tech who can help frustrated users get back to work. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

You'll report in Mokopane. Relocation is not covered for this one. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

The work, day to day

Image, set up and hand over new laptops and desktops
Escalate network and server faults to second or third line with good notes
Keep the asset register up to date when equipment moves
Write short how-to guides for common user problems
Connect users remotely with a remote support tool to fix issues

Must-haves

Patient and friendly with non-technical users
Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 and Microsoft 365
Able to log clear, complete ticket notes
Matric plus an IT qualification, such as CompTIA A+ or an IT diploma
At least 1 year of help desk or desktop support (not needed for intern posts)
