You'll move property transfers from signed offer to registration at a bond origination partner firm in Pietermaritzburg. People who do well here are steady, honest and not scared to ask when something is unclear.

You'll be based at a bond origination partner firm in Pietermaritzburg. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Prepare final statements of account and pay out on registration
• Open transfer files from signed offers to purchase and check the terms
• Book signing appointments and explain costs to buyers and sellers
• Lodge documents at the Deeds Office and track them through examination
• Apply for transfer duty receipts on SARS eFiling
• Fix Deeds Office rejection notes quickly and relodge

• Organised enough to run 60 or more live files
• Clear, polite updates to anxious buyers and sellers
• Matric, with a conveyancing course for secretary posts
• At least 2 years of conveyancing or bond work
• Admission as a conveyancer for conveyancer posts
• Knowledge of bank panel instruction portals and LAWtrust digital signing

• Notarial bonds and servitudes
• Estate late transfers
• Sectional title and new development experience

• Registration bonus per file at some firms
• Parking or taxi allowance for Deeds Office runs
• Paid conveyancing short courses
