Job Description

Buyers and sellers are waiting on your file at a bond origination partner firm in Tzaneen, and every step counts. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll report in Tzaneen. Relocation is not covered for this one. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

What your day looks like

  • Request rates clearance and levy clearance figures from councils and body corporates
  • Request bond cancellation figures and guarantees from banks
  • Open transfer files from signed offers to purchase and check the terms
  • Prepare deeds of transfer, powers of attorney and bond documents
  • Apply for transfer duty receipts on SARS eFiling
  • Fix Deeds Office rejection notes quickly and relodge

Must-haves

  • Experience on a conveyancing system such as GhostConvey, LegalSuite or AJS
  • Matric, with a conveyancing course for secretary posts
  • Organised enough to run 60 or more live files
  • Clear, polite updates to anxious buyers and sellers
