Job Description

This snack and confectionery wholesaler needs a rep in Durban Central who knows the shops, the owners and the numbers. Expect to be trusted with real work from your first week.

This post is in Durban Central (KwaZulu-Natal). Please only apply if you can travel there daily.

The work, day to day

Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.
Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.
Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.
Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.

What you need

Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
Matric
You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting

Nice if you have

Existing relationships with independent retailers
Your own reliable car for a car-allowance position
