Key Account Merchandising Supervisor – Permanent

You'll cover a route of stores around George, selling in stock and fixing shelves as you go. This is a good step for someone who wants proper routine and a manager who notices good work.

You'll be based at a beverage distributor in George. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. The first two weeks are spent shadowing someone experienced.

• Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
• Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.
• Collect cash or EFT proof on van sales and bank daily.
• Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
• Take orders from store managers and spaza owners on the sales app.
• Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.

• Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
• Comfortable with a smartphone sales app and WhatsApp reporting
• You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
• Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
• You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
• Matric

• A sales or marketing certificate
• Speaking two or more local languages

• Monthly commission on volume and new accounts
• Product samples and staff pricing
• Cellphone and data allowance

• Bring numbers: cases sold per month, new outlets opened or growth percentages on your route.
