Job Description

Out on the road for a pet food manufacturer in Gqeberha, your car is your office and the store floor is your pitch. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

This post is Gqeberha-based, with most of your time spent at a pet food manufacturer. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

What you'll actually do

Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.
Track competitor pricing and new products in your area.
Send your manager a daily report with volumes against target.
Set up promotional displays and check planogram compliance with photos.
Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.
Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
Log kilometres and fuel slips for the monthly claim.

You'll need

Physically able to lift cases and pack shelves
A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles
Matric
1 to 3 years of FMCG, merchandising or route sales experience

Helpful, not essential

Speaking two or more local languages
Your own reliable car for a car-allowance position
Existing relationships with independent retailers
