Job Description

Shelves sell the product, and at this hardware and paint supplier you'll keep them full, neat and priced right. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

This post is Worcester-based, with most of your time spent at a hardware and paint supplier.

What you'll actually do

Pack shelves, rotate stock and remove damaged or expired lines.
Run in-store tastings and demos on month-end weekends.
Handle returns and credit claims for damaged stock.
Check shelf prices against the promo list and fix wrong tickets.
Open new accounts with taverns, spazas and independent retailers.
Visit 8 to 15 outlets a day on a planned call cycle.

What you need

A valid Code 08 (Code B) driver's licence, for rep roles
You can work to daily and monthly volume targets
Matric
Good with people from store managers to tuck-shop owners
You know the townships, suburbs and main roads of your area
