Job Description

Packing season at a table grape packhouse near Phalaborwa means lots of shifts and lots of work. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

The site is in Phalaborwa; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying.

What your day looks like

Keep your packing station clean and free of stems and leaves
Help clean the line and machines at the end of the day
Pack cartons to the export pattern and weight
Stick labels and batch codes on each carton
Follow food safety rules like hand washing and no jewellery
Build pallets to the correct height and strap them

You'll need

Follows hygiene rules at all times
Available for the full packing season including Saturdays
Basic counting and reading for labels
Able to stand at a line for long shifts
Arrives on time for early shifts

Helpful, not essential

Knowledge of export standards like GLOBALG.A.P.
Forklift licence for palletising roles
