Job Description

For a motor spares shop in Ballito, fast and careful deliveries keep customers coming back. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

Home base is a motor spares shop on the Ballito side of KwaZulu-Natal.

What you'll actually do

Bank cheques, post documents and run office errands
Follow the delivery app for route and stop order
Deliver chronic medication to patients' homes and confirm ID
Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook
Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop
Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults

Must-haves

Good sense of direction and map reading
Polite with customers at the door
Able to work Saturdays
At least 1 year of driving experience
Clean driving record and no criminal record
Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps

Helpful, not essential

Previous courier or last-mile experience
Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
