Job Description

You'll zip parcels, spares or documents around Bloemfontein for an engineering firm, all day, all over town. Someone who likes a bit of variety, but also likes doing things the right way, will enjoy this.

Home base is an engineering firm on the Bloemfontein side of Free State. Overtime comes up in peak season and is paid.

What you'll actually do

Return undelivered parcels to the depot with a reason code
Deliver chronic medication to patients' homes and confirm ID
Follow the delivery app for route and stop order
Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults
Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
Phone customers when the address is hard to find

You'll need

Clean driving record and no criminal record
Polite with customers at the door
Good sense of direction and map reading
At least 1 year of driving experience
Valid Code 8 (B) licence, or A licence for motorbike roles
Able to work Saturdays

Helpful, not essential

Previous courier or last-mile experience
Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
