Job Description

For a pharmacy chain in Newcastle, fast and careful deliveries keep customers coming back. If you turn up on time and finish what you start, you'll fit in quickly.

You'll report in Newcastle. Relocation is not covered for this one. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

The work, day to day

Scan parcels on delivery and take a photo or signature
Phone customers when the address is hard to find
Follow the delivery app for route and stop order
Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults
Fill up the vehicle and keep fuel slips for the logbook
Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop

What you need

At least 1 year of driving experience
Able to work Saturdays
Clean driving record and no criminal record
Good sense of direction and map reading
Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps

Nice if you have

Previous courier or last-mile experience
Knowledge of the city's industrial areas
Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
