Job Description

A clean Code 8 licence and good street sense will get you started at a courier depot in Umlazi. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

You'll report in Umlazi. Relocation is not covered for this one. Hours are mostly Monday to Friday, with the odd Saturday in busy months.

What you'll actually do

Keep your vehicle or bike clean and report faults
Load parcels in route order from the depot scanning area
Phone customers when the address is hard to find
Collect spares and parts from suppliers and bring them to the workshop
Follow the delivery app for route and stop order

What you need

Able to work Saturdays
Polite with customers at the door
Smartphone and comfortable using delivery apps
Clean driving record and no criminal record

Helpful, not essential

PrDP for staff shuttle posts
Previous courier or last-mile experience
Your own reliable bakkie or bike for owner-driver contracts
