Laundry Attendant (Lodge)

You'll be based at a serviced apartment block in Durban Central. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps. There's a probation period of three months before the contract is confirmed.

• Inspect rooms against the checklist before release to front office.
• Report broken fittings, leaks and damage to maintenance.
• Wash, dry and press linen and table cloths in the laundry.
• Hand in lost property with a written log entry.
• Update room status on the housekeeping app or board after each room.

• Weekend and public holiday work
• Grade 10 or higher
• Hotel, guesthouse or domestic cleaning experience
• You work neatly and notice a hair on a pillow
• You can finish around 14 rooms in a shift
• Fit enough to lift mattresses and push trolleys all day

• Staff transport from nearby townships for early shifts
• Uniform and protective gloves supplied

• Meals on duty
