Job Description

You'll keep the attorneys at a debt counselling firm in Tembisa organised, on time and ready for court. Bring a calm head on busy days and you'll be fine.

You'll be based at a debt counselling firm in Tembisa. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

What you'll actually do

Handle incoming calls and give clients straightforward progress updates
Prepare section 129 notices and default judgment applications
Type and format letters, notices and affidavits from dictation or drafts
Open new matters and do conflict checks on the practice system
Keep personal information in files secure under POPIA

What you need

Organised under pressure from several attorneys
Understanding of court rules and deadlines
Fast, accurate typing and strong Word formatting
At least 2 years in a law firm or legal department

Extra points for

NCR debt counsellor course
Audio typing at 60+ words per minute
