Liquor Store General Assistant

Start in retail here: a neighbourhood supermarket in Atlantis trains packers who show up and work neat. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

You'll be based at a neighbourhood supermarket in Atlantis. Living nearby, or on a taxi route to it, really helps.

• Pack shelves from the back, rotating older stock to the front (first in, first out)
• Unpack deliveries in the receiving area and sort by aisle
• Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves
• Collect trolleys from the parking lot
• Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables
• Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles

• Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
• Basic reading and maths for price checks
• Neat appearance and punctual
• Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
• Grade 10 or matric

• Own transport for route merchandising jobs
• Being 18 or older for liquor store roles
• Some till or cash-handling experience

• Paid training in store procedures
• Staff discount on groceries
• Chance to move into till or department roles
