Liquor Store General Assistant – Entry Level

Night fill, weekends or month-end rush, a liquor store in Atlantis needs extra hands. This role rewards consistency more than flash.

The site is in Atlantis; early starts mean public transport timing matters, so check your route before applying. Shifts rotate, so you'll need to be flexible about days and nights.

• Weigh, bag and price fruit and vegetables
• Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles
• Put up price tickets and promotion shelf strips
• Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs
• Help customers find products and carry heavy items to cars
• Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves
• Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled

• Polite with customers and happy to help
• Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
• Grade 10 or matric
• Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
• Basic reading and maths for price checks
• Able to stand and lift cases all shift

• Being 18 or older for liquor store roles
• Previous shelf packing or merchandising work
