Job Description

Shoppers in Fourways judge a liquor store by its shelves, and that is where you come in. If you learn fast and don't mind being shown things twice, you'll settle in within a few weeks.

Home base is a liquor store on the Fourways side of Gauteng.

The work, day to day

Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs
Unpack deliveries in the receiving area and sort by aisle
Collect trolleys from the parking lot
Visit several stores on a merchandising route and send photos of shelves
Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles

Must-haves

Grade 10 or matric
Polite with customers and happy to help
Basic reading and maths for price checks
Able to stand and lift cases all shift
Neat appearance and punctual

Extra points for

Previous shelf packing or merchandising work
Some till or cash-handling experience
Own transport for route merchandising jobs
