Liquor Store General Assistant

You'll keep the shelves full and tidy at a wholesale cash-and-carry in Fourways, so shoppers find what they came for. It's a practical job: you'll see what you got done before you go home.

This post is Fourways-based, with most of your time spent at a wholesale cash-and-carry.

• Clean spills fast and put up wet-floor signs
• Collect trolleys from the parking lot
• Help customers find products and carry heavy items to cars
• Unpack deliveries in the receiving area and sort by aisle
• Pack shelves from the back, rotating older stock to the front (first in, first out)
• Face products so labels point forward and gaps are filled
• Build promotional displays at the ends of aisles

• Basic reading and maths for price checks
• Available for weekends, month-end and public holidays
• Grade 10 or matric
• Polite with customers and happy to help
• Honest, since stock losses are checked closely
• Able to stand and lift cases all shift

• Some till or cash-handling experience
• Previous shelf packing or merchandising work
• Own transport for route merchandising jobs
