Job Description

A family in Soweto wants someone they can trust with their retired couple's cottage and their children. If you like clear targets and knowing where you stand, this is for you.

This post is Soweto-based, with most of your time spent at a retired couple's cottage.

What your day looks like

Dust furniture, ornaments and skirting boards
Water indoor plants and feed pets
Change bed linen and make beds
Clean windows and patio doors once a week
Keep a list of cleaning supplies running low for the employer
Wash, hang, iron and fold the household's laundry

Must-haves

Willing to follow the family's house rules and routines
Trustworthy, with references from previous employers you can share
Good with children and patient
Able to speak and understand basic English

Helpful, not essential

Basic first aid or child CPR course
Non-smoker
