Loading Bay Hand (Beverage Depot)

Delivery days start early in Lephalale, and a container unpacking yard needs you on the bay before the trucks roll. You don't need to be the loudest person in the room, just the one others can count on.

Location: Lephalale, Limpopo. Applicants who already live in the area get looked at first. You'll start with a short induction before working on your own.

• Strap and secure loads so nothing shifts in transit
• Assemble or place furniture where the customer asks
• Stack returns and empties neatly for the next count
• Sweep the bay and clear shrink-wrap after each loading
• Offload containers by hand, counting cartons as they come off

• No criminal record
• Comfortable starting from 04:00 or working late loading shifts
• Friendly with customers at the door
• Able to lift and carry heavy items all day
• Willing to travel on routes that return late
• Grade 9 or higher and able to read a delivery note

• Speaking more than one local language for customer drops
• A Code 8 or Code 10 licence (a route to becoming a driver)
• Past work as a driver's assistant

• Uniform and safety shoes provided
• Route-completion incentives in busy months
• Meal allowance on long-route days
• Help to get your own licence through the company later

• Say what hours you can start. Loading bays often hire the person who can be there at 04:00 without fail.
• If you are learning to drive, mention it. Depots like to grow assistants into drivers.
